As I mentioned Here, Steph from Canadian Beauty Reviews was amazingly kind and sent me these Julep Peacock Nail appliques. I finally grew back most of my nails (slightly) and had a chance to apply them!
They were super easy to apply. My one qualm is that none of them reallllly fit perfectly to my nail-bed (I must just have really wide nails?). They are still absolutely gorgeous!! Without further ado....
The polishes I used for the leopard-print are, Wet 'n' Wild in black, American Apparel Neon in Red, and my first ever Julep Polish, Charlotte.

Ooohh your nails look so nice! I was really stressed a little while ago, and happened to bite all my nails. Sadly for me they take forevvverr to grow back. So many people have been doing nail art and I am getting jealous haha:P
ReplyDeleteyou can still paint them even though they are short! Some of mine are still broken/extremely short!
DeleteWow!!! Love these nail looks! Very beautiful Z! :)
ReplyDeletewhen the pictures of this post first showed up on my dashboard, i didn't realize that they were appliques. i seriously thought you had taken a little toothpick and painted each little dot on! ha ha! that would have taken some serious dedication!
ReplyDeletebut either way, they are still very beautiful! love em!

It's very easy! I am not very good at nail art and was able to do the leopards! You should try it! Also, the stickers are fool-proof and come in many different designs - you should try to find some :)
DeleteThese are so cute! At first I thought you painted the first design and I was like whoa, that must have taken forever :D Thank gawd for nail stickers xoxo
ReplyDeleteHahaha I do NOT have the patience or the skill to have done that by hand!! Nail stickers are my new saviour :)
DeleteVery pretty!! i got a set of these (I love peacocks sooo much too!) in a mystery box...and my 4 year old got into them. :`( I haven't tried to salvage them yet..but my nails finally grew out, I'll have to try. They look fabulous on you!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the leopard, looks totally rad! ;)
Oh no!! There were more in the set than were needed for 10 nails, so hopefully you can still salvage 10 and try them out!!
DeleteMe too! :D
Deleteermagerd...your nails are amazing! I lack the skill to do any sort of nail art! :)
