[Body Shop] Favourites of the Day: April 15th

            1. Sweet Sale Scores:
Today's favourite's of the day are subsets of a bigger favourite of mine....Sweet Sale Scores! The Body Shop was having a sale a little while ago where if you bought 5 items you got 50% off, and if the total was over 50$ before the 50% discount was applied you also got Free Shipping. I also have a LYB Body Shop Membership so got an additional 10% off. In total, I ended up scoring all of these for a total of $41 (including tax) even though the total worth was $92. I was able to save $51 - more than I ended up paying.

  • Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter: This is sort of like a hair mask, you leave it in for about 5 min before washing it out and it leaves your hair 100x softer than a regular conditioner. It also smells amazing! I highly reccomend it. When it's not on sale, it retails for about $14. The tub is huge though and a little goes a long way.

  • Body Shop Seaweed Facial Exfoliator:  Not too aggravating and yet leaves your skin perfectly smooth and clear. I use this daily and highly reccommend it to anyone looking for a new exfoliator/cleanser. Again, when not on sale, it retails for about $14.50, but again, lasts quite a long time.

  •   Body Shop Tea Tree Exfoliating Pads: These are hands-down my favourite body-shop product. They are perfect for cleansing your face on the go! They are ideal for taking in your Gym-Bag post-work-out, or for travelling/times when you need to spend the night away from home. They are just as effective as a regular face wash but require no sink/water. You can even use them quickly in the car! They fully remove makeup and leave your skin tea-tree-y clean (that's a word...right?) They retail for about $15 but at 40 pads (you only need 1 - unless, you wear really heavy makeup, maybe 2) they are less than 50cents a pad.

  • Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion: This is amazing. Obviously it's not the same as getting microdermabrasion at a spa...but it keeps your skin extremely smooth and maybe this is just my imagination, but I like to think it gives it a bit of a glow as well. It's extremely rough...basically like rubbing sand all over your face...so I would not recommend it if you have sensitive skin. You are only supposed to use a tiny amount of it once or twice a week because of how strong it is, which is why this $20 75ml bottle lasts several, several months.

  • Body Shop Honey Bronzing Powder: I am extremely pale, so this is my Summer-Saviour. It comes in about 5 shades, so you can pick your shade based on if you're ghostly pale like myself, or already sporting a golden bronze... This bronzer isn't shimmery/sparkly - so you don't have to worry about dazzling in the sun like Edward. It's matte and stays on all day long. I couldn't be happier with this. I highly recommend it! It costs about $18.50 - how long it lasts you will obviously depend on how often/how much you wear - but a little goes a long way, and as mentioned, it lasts all day!

Ps. Despite my overenthusiasm I'm not in any way affiliated with the Body Shop/ am not rewarded in any way for doing reviews for them...although based on how much I praise them I should be :P

  1. I want to try the tea tree exfoliating pads! I wondered about them- I didn't realize they were also a cleanser! I love the tea tree line, I will have to grab some of those soon.

    1. Yeah they are actually super moist/soaked in some sort of cleanser/tea-tree mix and remove makeup/oil/dirt/etc really well! Though I wouldn't recommend using them on/around your eyes :/

    1. Thanks for reading! I'm still new to all this. It's actually bloggers like you guys that got me interested in it!

And if you don't have sensitive skin you should definitely look into the microdermabrasion scrub! It's the most intense/grittiest exfoliator I've every tried (which is why I love it - it feels like it actually does something)
The 5 items 50% off sale is over but I think they have one on now for buy 1 get 1 50% or buy 2 get 1 free :)
